2010-2011 Ballet Year

 Karissa's ballet recital. Karissa's ballet was "Cinderella". (They have done this one once before, and was a bit 'bitter sweet', since the last time Karissa performed it, we had Harry's mom, Bess, with us. She said Cinderella was her favorite fairy tale. We felt she was with us & still very pleased with Karissa.)  We were also pleased & happy that this is Karissa's eighth year of ballet. We have fun sharing in Karissa's talent as she dances across the stage. This year, Harry/Papa found our dear daughter, burgandy 'Poofs' (my name for one of my favorite flowers - Carnations.) They matched her tutu again. We are so blessed to have a family where everyone cheers for each other. (Kenson, Kevin & Kenny were very proud of their pretty sister.)

2009-2010 Ballet Year

Karissa's ballet recital. Karissa's ballet was "Coppelia" this year. It's been so fun to share seven years of ballet with our Karissa. Harry/Papa bought her sweet 'pink roses'. The picture of Karissa holding them in our family vehicle is my favorite.

2008-2009 Ballet Year

Karissa's ballet recital. Karissa's ballet play was 'Sleeping Beauty'. Everyone did a brilliant job, and it was a treat having Karissa's Ballet teacher & owner of the Pittsburgh Ballet House, Mr. Choi play the lead Prince. :) Harry/Papa gave Karissa sweet golden roses. :) We missed his mother not being with us, who had passed away just a few months prior to the performance. Grandma Bess had planned on spending many years with her grandkids. We missed her but knew she is always close.

2007-2008 Ballet Year

Karissa's ballet recital. Karissa's ballet play was 'Cinderella'. Karissa gets 'pointe' shoes this year. Harry(Papa); his mom, Grandma Bess, bought her beautiful dark orange roses. It was so neat to share this with Grandma Bess now that she has moved here to be closer to our family. We also enjoyed our customary/traditional ice cream~  (Karissa liked her flowers so much, she hung dried these and their still in her room) =) .

2006-2007 Ballet Year

Karissa's ballet recital. Harry/Papa chooses 'Bright Hot Pink' roses this year. =) Karissa has changed from Tammy's School of Dance, to Pittsburgh Ballet House. The play is 'The Widow's Daughter'. Karissa got some flowers from a Dashing fan... Papa. ;) I was glad Harry was able to get a picture of Karissa and our family before Kenny went 'running off' again..He was also thought Karissa's pink roses looked good enough to eat. =)

2005-2006 Ballet Year

Karissa's ballet recital. Harry/ Papa & I found 'Blue flowers' to match Karissa's outfit she had for her recital. Karissa danced to the 'Lord of the Rings' melody "The Shire". Her outfit was very pretty, but I kept thinking it would have been cool to be dark green to match the song. :) She did an amazing job~ Kevin keeps saying "sisters beautiful". =)

2004-2005 Ballet Year

Karissa's ballet recital. Karissa liked her pink 'tutu'. She was given lovely pink roses from Papa/Harry~ (And Karissa's favorite Hershey Chocolate bar~ =) [Karissa danced to 'raindrops keep falling on my heard', one of Harry's favorite songs.]
